2019 CUP SERIES
ATTN all NEW DRIVERS: Please sign up here. The same number will be used for all series. Once your # is picked (and available), we will update the iRacing league page with it. Available numbers
We encourage everyone to race weekly, but you may participate in all AMS races full-time or part-time.
All new (and existing) drivers are expected to familiarize yourself with the rules.
Before participating in any AMS event, it is expected that you read and agree to The Code of Conduct.
OUR 27th SEASON - (14TH SEASON / 8th year on iRacing): 2019 Season beginning February 2019.
All races are scheduled on Mondays.
Servers open at 7:30pm ET, Qualifying at 9:20pm ET . All races will be run under "league sessions".
2019 Season will start February 11th with the Daytona Clash (non-points). The first week of points racing starts with Daytona February 18th.
All drivers, new and old, are eligible to race in the Clash.

Track ToD
The track time-of-day settings will be what the actual time of day the real race is. https://www.nascar.com/monster-energy-nascar-cup-series/2019/schedule/ (times listed on that site are ET)
Practice will be set to the same time a day before.
Qualifying will be set to noon on race day.
ALL sessions will be x2
Example: Our Atlanta race on Monday Feb 25, 2019
Race - track ToD setting will be set to Sunday, Feb 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM Atlanta time (2:00pm ET).
Practice - track ToD setting will be set to Saturday, Feb 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM Atlanta time (2:00pm ET).
Qualifying - track ToD setting will be set to Sunday, Feb 24, 2019 at noon Atlanta time (12:00pm ET).
Example: Our Las Vegas race on Monday Mar 4, 2019
Race - track ToD setting will be set to Sunday, Mar 3, 2019 at 12:30 PM Las Vegas time (3:30pm ET).
Practice - track ToD setting will be set to Saturday, Mar 2, 2019 at 12:30 PM Las Vegas time (3:30pm ET).
Qualifying - track ToD setting will be set to Sunday, Mar 3, 2019 at noon Las Vegas time (3:00pm ET).

**The above procedures are subject to change under certain circumstances (such as no night version of a track) etc.
***The Daytona Clash will be run at night. After that non-points race, all races will follow the above ToD procedures.

Just like last season, 2019 Season races will have 1 fast repair per race.
For the Cup Series, we will continue to use "Realistic Weather". fixed setups, 70% fuel
All sessions begin with 0% track state and not clearing marbles.
We will field all 3 active Cup cars (not Chevy SS or Ford Fusion).
The Cup Series will use the chase format. (top 15 in points)

FUNDING: AMS is funded by the generosity of its members. No one is required to pay anything to race.
hosting sessions/domain/Teamspeak/Championship winnings/broadcasting etc.
To help offset some of the costs, we are offering the opportunity to sponsor the Series and have the naming rights for that Series. If a couple people want to get together to sponsor the series, that's also an option.
To sponsor the Cup Series - at least $100.00 -

The above series' sponsorship costs cover hosting costs and small championship payout.
Dalton Baldwin has stepped up to be the 2019 Cup Series sponsor with " Children's Dream Racer"
Anything paid above that amount can be used to have a higher champion payout and/or payouts to second, third/ or broadcasting etc. Series sponsor and league administration have sole discretion.
