**ANNOUNCEMENTS**
1)We are testing out a new scoring system from Xtreme Scoring! Please check out the slightly new look to www.AMSLeague.com that will allow you to click through the new scoring system. While we are testing this new system we will continue to use DanLisa to ensure the integrity of our points system. We look forward to this new system however and are excited to be able to use this as a way of improving our scoring and statistics over the long future ahead of www.AMSLeague.com
2) Thanks to Avery McDonald, every Sunday night before a race, at 9:00 PM EST in the AMSLeague.com League Sessions will be a practice session. This is not mandatory however, please feel free to come out and get some laps in before the big race!

ALL AMS Cup Series races are run on Monday nights (league sessions).

All AMS race sessions OPEN at 7:30pm ET for open practice, with qualifying at 9:20pm ET.

A couple of highlights:
-To submit a protest, question or concern regarding an AMS race or driver, please do so at http://www.amsleague.com/protest.html (tab on top of website)
-If you are the cause of 2 cautions in a race, you will be required to park your car for the remainder of the race.
-If you continue to cause a decent amount of cautions race after race, you will be given a warning and further action may be taken.
-NO INTENTIONALLY WRECKING YOUR FELLOW COMPETITORS. Doing so under caution will be an immediate suspension.
-Black Flags: All iRacing given black flags will be upheld unless a Main Staff member says otherwise. Main Staff gets final call on all black flags given.
-Clearing Black Flags: If you feel you were wrongly given a black flag, or according to any of our rules, you should not have received one, then tell an admin your situation and we may clear it.
-Cleared Black Flags: Any black flags cleared by an admin during a race will be subject to a mandatory post race review.
-Black Flags for Avoiding a Wreck: If you're attempting to avoid a wreck, or you spin down pit road, and you are NOT the cause of the accident/incident, any black flags given to you from this will be cleared. Just ask an admin to clear them. (single car pit road violations will not be cleared)
-15 Drivers will make the chase based on regular season points. (No stages, no elimination rounds, no win and you're in)
-Provisionals: You are granted 5 provisionals for the Cup Series. If you can't make one of the races, you could use one of your provisionals that night. You may request it as early as you'd like, but MUST be called for BY 9:25pm ET on race night.

Congratulations and THANK YOU for everyone's participation this off season. We are only three weeks away from our opening shootout for 2021 Season A @ Daytona.

We will have some recruiting races to open our league to new members in this time. If you know anyone who would like to join, now is the time to direct them here or here to apply.

UPDATE 11/16/2020: I'd like to thank all of the drivers that participated in the 2020 Cup Series this year. We had very few issues (nothing major) and really appreciate the maturity that everyone has shown on and off the track.
We are looking forward to seeing you all back on the track for the 2021 Cup Season. 

In the meantime, we invite you all to participate in the 8 week Off-Season Series that will be starting in 2 weeks. We will be posting an update about that very soon. (the schedule is on the website)
We encourage you to invite friends/drivers to participate. We now have the league open for recruitment of new drivers.

Over the next few weeks, I will be working on making many numbers available. All current drivers will be able to keep their same number (or change numbers if you want) An announcement on car numbers will be made in a few weeks.

Again, Thank You all for making this a fun, mature league and look forward to seeing you back on the track shortly.
