UPDATE 01/15/2013: Effective immediately, the 2013 Season #1 league fee is $10.00 UPDATE 01/10/2013: http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/2468583.page The following only pertains to our Thursday Cup Series.(2013 Season #1) The new Chevy SS class A Cup car (G6) is scheduled to be released by iRacing in early March. AFTER it is released, we (league drivers) will vote to see if/when we want to start using it. We of course will start the season in the same class A Cup car that we currently use, but since our season doesn't end until August, many drivers will probably want to use the "new" car before that. As far as the new Ford Cup car, iRacing is still working on a development project to hopefully enable hosted/leagues to use both in the same race (not multi-class and so everyone can see both if you only own one). We will keep everyone up to date as we know more (hopefully by early March). Thanks, AMS Staff UPDATE 01/06/2013: We will be hosting our next tryout race for next season this Friday 01/11/2013 at 9:00pm ET at Charlotte in the Cup cars. UPDATE 12/30/2012: Enrollment for new drivers for next season (2013 Season #1) is now open. 2013 Season #1 starts in February. There will be payouts in every Cup and Truck race. $10.00 league fee covers all 63 races. (Cup, Truck and National Series) You may race in as many or as few races as you would like. Some drivers choose 1 or 2 series to run full time and pick and choose races in the other series(s). Some drivers attempt to race all 3 series full time....it's your choice. For more info on next season, click here. We will be holding tryout races starting this Friday 01/04/2013. Fridays race will be at Atlanta in the Trucks at 9:00pm ET. If you cannot make the tryout races, you may contact us admin@anarchymotorsportsserver.com or http://members.iracing.com/membersite/member/LeagueView.do?league=27 and let us know so that we can spectate a couple of your races. We are looking for clean racers that are willing to follow the rules. Speed (fast or slow) is not an issue as long as you are a clean racer. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, AMS Staff UPDATE 12/29/2012: Due to popular demand, for 2013 Season #1 we will be replacing the Nationwide Series with the National Series (more short tracks). UPDATE 12/25/2012: MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS - From AMS Staff 2013 Season #1 will be starting in February. If you know of anyone interested in joining AMS, please let them know. We are not a "rookie" league, nor are we a "Pro Series" league. With that being said,(for potential new drivers), anyone with a Class A or B license, 1700+ irating and less than an average of 4 IPR will probably be accepted rather quickly. On the other end of the spectrum, Pro Series drivers or drivers with 5000+ irating.... well, staff will vote on that, just as we will with all potential new drivers. We will be holding tryout races throughout January (days & times TBD). Any driver regardless of class or irating will be allowed to tryout. We may request some drivers to participate in more than 1 tryout race to make sure that we are comfortable with them and them with us. The above info is for potential new drivers only. Of course ALL existing AMS drivers are all welcome back and encouraged to join 2013 Season #1. Most info for next season is here: http://www.anarchymotorsportsserver.com/next-season.html Other than the schedule, the only major change for 2013 Season #1 are the new starting times. The rooms will open at 9:00pm ET and qualifying will begin at 9:20pm ET. This was voted by popular demand via the poll that has been on the website for 3 months. By starting the races 1 hour earlier, may also enable more potential new drivers to join. This announcement may seem a little early, but there is not alot of time between the end of this season and the start of next season. Thank You for taking the time to read this. AMS Staff UPDATE 12/19/2012: Ams League Again, we would like to thank a benefactor - Brent Nicholls for paying for our 2 hour hosted sessions for all 63 races for 2013 Season #1 just as he did for 2012 Season #2. Thanks Brent UPDATE 12/18/2012: Ams League Due to iRacing having technical issues, we have been forced to cancel and reschedule our AMS Truck Series Talladega 85 to January 1st. We know that it will now be on New Year's Day, however we wanted to keep the race on a Tuesday, and that was the only open Tuesday other than Christmas Day for the rest of the season. We apologize for the inconvenience this poses to anyone. We have a list of people that were present for the original date, anyone who can not make the rescheduled date will be given a provisional that does not count against the ones they were originally given for the season. We try to make sure when things like this happen that people are not inconvenienced from it. Unfortunately, this time it seems that people will be affected, so we've already started and will continue to find better ways to be sure that we have options for every race to be rescheduled without affecting anybody. UPDATE 12/17/2012: ATTN. AMS members: We have had a 2013 Season #1 info page (Next Season) on the website for some time. Since the new season will be starting in February, we will be holding tryout/practice races/rooms for potential new members starting January and in February, (dates/times TBD by staff). When we do, we will post the dates/times on Facebook and the league website. So, if you know of any drivers that would consider racing in AMS, please stay tuned. Thanks, AMS Staff UPDATE 12/10/2012: If you or someone you know plan on ordering online from Walmart, Tiger Direct, Your Best Deals, or eSportsonline, please have them come to our website and click on one of the ads on the right (scroll down). Also, if you or someone you know has a website, please click on the Linkshare ad. Any sale from clicking on one of those ads will give our league a small commission. Once it adds up, we will have more sponsored races with more payouts. Every little bit helps. Thank You New sites added occasionally UPDATE 11/28/2012: 2013 Season #1 Schedule is up. UPDATE 11/22/2012: HAPPY THANKSGIVING - Due to the holiday, there are no races scheduled for tonight. All older updates - here |
