Caution Rule 6.4.1. - Procedure
1st Stage: Any driver that causes at least one caution in at least 2 of 3 consecutive races, they will receive a "friendly warning" (given only once per season).
- Penalties: "Friendly" Warning.
- Clearing: The warning clears after completing 2 races without causing a caution.
- Further Consequences: 2nd Stage Penalties.
2nd Stage: If a driver does not clear their first warning and causes a caution, they will receive a second warning and be forced to park it mid-race at the time they cause the caution.
- Penalties: A warning. Park it mid-race.
- Clearing: The warning clears after completing 2 races without causing a caution.
- Further Consequences: 3rd Stage Penalties.
3rd Stage: If a driver still does not clear their second warning and causes a caution, they will receive a three-race suspension and be forced to park it mid-race at the time they cause the caution.
- Penalties: Three-race suspension. Park it mid-race.
- Clearing: The warning clears after completing 3 races without causing a caution.
- Further Consequences: 4th Stage Penalties
4th Stage: If a driver still does not clear their warning and causes a caution, they will be suspended for the rest of the season and be forced to park it mid-race at the time they cause the caution.
- Penalties: Suspended for the season.
- Clearing: This cannot be cleared. You will sit out the rest of the year.
(*) If under a caution warning, and the driver brings out a caution, they will be parked at that point. If it isn't determined until post-race review, driver will be scored at the lap of caution.
Rule 6.4. is still in effect (if you are the cause of 2 cautions in a race, you will be required to park your car for the remainder of the race).

***When the Chase/Playoffs start, all drivers will be reset (start fresh), except those currently under suspension or currently under a third warning.
