Sponsored Races/Promotions/Payouts
The Truck and Cup Series will continue to be run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will begin running the Indy Cars on Wednesdays. Just like last season, 2013 Season #2 races will have 1 fast repair per race - Cup & Trucks. The Indy Car Series will have 3 fast repairs per race. We may adjust that as the season progresses. For the Truck Series and Indycar Series, we will continue to use iRacing's default weather for ALL races. For the Cup Series, we will check weather.com on Thursday nights or Friday and see what the weather will be at the track that we will be racing at on the following Thursday. An admin will then post it on the Facebook group. This will give everyone a week to fine-tune their setup (if need be) based on the weather we will be using. Mondays update on the Facebook group and the website will also have this information. Once we post the weather conditions for our next race, that is what we will be using - regardless of how much the weather may change throughout the week. Since iRacing has limitations on weather, the temps. will never be below 65 or above 90 degrees. We also will not have fog in our races, but the relative humidity can be anywhere from 0-100. We would like to Thank Charles LeMaire for providing a 1 year iRacing membership to the 2013 Season #1 Cup Champion. We also would like to Thank Wallace Boyce for providing a DSD Button Box to the 2013 Season #1 Truck Champion. Again, Thank You both for being great benefactors to AMS. Of course this is in addition to the Championship payouts. We would like to thank Joyce Motorsports - John Joyce and Jeff Joyce (Stewart) for donating $40.00 to the
2013 Season #1 Truck Series. $20. for Rookie of the Year and $20. for most improved driver. Again this is for the Truck Series. Thanks Guys. |
2012 Season #2
2012 Season #2 will start August 7th-9th with the Shootouts (non-points, no payouts). The first week of points paying and payouts start with the Daytona races August 14th-16th.
We have some Changes coming that are just going through the final stages of review for next season.
We have had some sponsorship for some of the remaining 2012 Season #1 races.
We are working on sponsorship for as many 2012 Season #2 races as possible, which will increase payouts for those races.
